Assessment Feedback Toolkit for teachers
Rob Weale has developed an online assessment feedback resource, adapted from the University of Ulster Viewpoints Project – Assessment and Feedback Workshop Toolkit.

This resource which comprises a series of paired cards, aims to help teachers re-design their assessment and feedback practice in innovative ways which allow learners to develop the ability to self-regulate their own learning and therefore improve the quality of their learning experience.

The resource is located at: https://hlselt.our.dmu.ac.uk/assessment-feedback-toolkit/

New academic staff
A reminder for all programme leaders. If you have new members of staff, please signpost them to the online ELT Induction: http://celt.our-archive.dmu.ac.uk/new-staff-learning-technology-induction/

You can also suggest that they make themselves known to me (Rob). I’m happy to have a face-to-face chat on an individual basis with any new member of staff about the use of learning technologies and associated support at DMU.

New Blackboard module codes
As part of the update to the DMU data systems the module code conventions for Blackboard have changed.
